Job Opening: Lumper – Project
Description
We are seeking reliable Heavy Lumpers to support a high-volume warehouse project in Sumner. Associates will be responsible for loading and unloading burlap bags filled with coffee beans, each weighing up to 130 lbs. This role requires consistent team lifting, physical stamina, and strong attention to safety.
- Pay: $22/hr
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- Employment Type: Full-time, Project-Based
Key Responsibilities
- Loading & unloading — Team lift burlap bags of coffee beans (130 lbs) safely and efficiently.
- Material handling — Move, stage, and organize product within the warehouse.
- Safety compliance — Follow all lifting protocols, PPE requirements, and warehouse safety rules.
- Team coordination — Work closely with other lumpers to maintain steady workflow and prevent injury.
- General warehouse duties — Assist with palletizing, wrapping, staging, and other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Heavy lifting capability — Must be able to lift 130 lbs consistently with a team.
- Physical endurance — Ability to stand, lift, bend, and move throughout the entire shift.
