ResourceMFG is now hiring DIE SETTERS near Auburn Hills, MI (Orion Twp)!

JOB TITLE:

Die Setter/Mold Change Technician (contract-to-hire)

PAY RATE:

$18.00 – $22.00/hr for all shifts

SHIFTS:

• 6:00am – 2:00pm
• 2:00pm – 10:00pm

DAYS:

Mon-Fri + two Saturdays on, and then one Saturday off.

DESCRIPTION:

This role is for a plastic manufacturing company. They produce plastic for various industries, including automotive, medical, etc.

DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:

• Mount, align, secure, and hook up dies, molds, and auxiliary equipment.
• Follow strict Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), OSHA regulations, and company safety guidelines.
• Run initial test cycles, inspect parts using precision measuring tools, and verify output matches specifications.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, or material feed issues during production runs and fix or report tool wear and damage.
• Coordinate with machine operators and production supervisors to minimize changeover downtime.
• General maintenance and upkeep of the facility (sweeping, etc).
