Receiving Associate / Forklift Operator

Location: Rogers, MN

Pay: $20.00 – $22.00+ BOE per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Position Overview 

We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Receiving Associate / Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. This role is responsible for receiving inbound shipments, unloading and inspecting incoming materials, operating a forklift, and ensuring inventory is accurately received and organized within the warehouse. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. 

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
• Operate a forklift to move, stage, and store materials throughout the warehouse
• Verify received items against packing slips, purchase orders, and shipping documentation
• Accurately enter and process receiving information using warehouse systems and technology
• Label, organize, and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations
• Communicate discrepancies, shortages, or damaged materials to management
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area
• Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and inventory control activities
• Support warehouse operations and special projects as needed
• Follow all company safety procedures and forklift operating guidelines

Qualifications

Required:

• Reliable attendance and strong dependability
• Ability to safely operate a forklift or willingness to complete forklift training
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer and technology skills
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
• Commitment to workplace safety and following established procedures
• Prior forklift operating experience and/or forklift certification

Preferred:

• Previous warehouse receiving experience
• Experience with inventory management or warehouse management systems
• Shipping and receiving experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment
