Job Opening: Machine Operator

A company in Grand Rapids is seeking a Machine Operator

Shift: days – Monday-Thursday 6am-3:30pm Fri 6a-10a

Pay $18.00/hr.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC and/or conventional machining equipment according to production requirements.
• Load raw materials and unload finished products from machinery.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and job specifications.
• Perform machine setup and make minor adjustments to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
• Conduct routine quality inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.
• Monitor machine performance and identify potential issues or equipment malfunctions.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately and timely.
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S and lean manufacturing principles.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, quality personnel, maintenance technicians, and other production team members.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting activities as needed.
• Meet production goals while minimizing waste and downtime.
