EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) Operator

Pay rate: $20

ProLogistix is seeking an experienced EDM Electrical Discharge Machining Operator to join our client's manufacturing team in the Houston area. The Ideal candidate will have experience operating EDM equipment and a strong understanding of machining processes, precision measurements, and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate Wire EDM, Sinker EDM, and/or Hole-Pop EDM machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
• Program, edit, and troubleshoot EDM machine controls and machining parameters.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment in good working condition.
• Document production activities, inspection results, and process data.

Qualifications:

• Previous EDM machining experience
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Experience using precision measuring instruments
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
