Resource MFG is looking for a Machine Operator (Foam Cutting) – Second Shift in Painesville

Pay: $17.00 – $18.00 per Hour

Schedule: Monday through Thursday

Hours: 4 Ten-Hour Shifts

Second Shift: 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator. This position is responsible for cutting foam materials to customer specifications, operating cutting equipment safely, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the production process.

Responsibilities

• Cut foam materials into various sizes and lengths based on work orders and customer specifications
• Operate saws and cutting equipment safely and efficiently
• Measure and mark materials accurately using rulers and tape measures
• Inspect finished products to ensure dimensions and quality requirements are met

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to read and accurately use a ruler or tape measure
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, and simple fractions
• Ability to safely operate a saw or willingness to be trained

Work Environment

This position works with foam materials in a variety of colors. Candidates should be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and able to distinguish between different foam colors.
