Job Opening: Production-1st Shift
Description
A company in Homer, MI is looking for Production workers.
Shift:
1st Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm
3rd Monday-Friday 11:00pm-7:30am
Pay: $17/hr. or $18.00/hr. for off shifts
Responsibilities:
Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery in accordance with established work instructions and safety procedures.
Assemble, inspect, package, and label brake system components and related products.
Perform quality inspections using gauges, measuring devices, and visual inspection techniques.
Monitor equipment performance and report abnormalities, defects, or maintenance needs.
Maintain production records accurately and completely.
Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
Meet or exceed production, quality, and efficiency targets.
Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Assist with changeovers, material handling, and workstation setup as required.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with 5S standards.
Collaborate with team members, supervisors, maintenance, and quality personnel to resolve production issues.
Support inventory control and material flow activities when assigned.
High school diploma or GED. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Basic math and measurement skills.
