Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to operate a Mazak Slant 550 / Powermaster. The ideal candidate will have hands-on machining experience and be capable of working independently with minimal training.

Required Qualifications

• 2–3 years of CNC lathe machining experience
• Experience operating a Mazak Slant 500/550 or Powermaster highly preferred
• Experience working with a 4-Jaw Chuck (required)
• Ability to perform machine setups and edits
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, prints, and mechanical drawings
• Experience using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
• Able to work with little supervision and minimal training

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic threading experience preferred, but not required
• Familiarity with standard lathe threading operations

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Mazak Slant 550 / Powermaster lathes safely and efficiently
• Perform machine setups and make necessary program edits
• Load and unload materials and parts
• Verify dimensions and quality using precision measuring instruments
• Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Maintain production and quality standards
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment
