Job Opening: Grinder
Description
Material Preparation: Read blueprints, charts, and technical drawings to determine product specifications, required dimensions, and tolerances.
Machine Setup: Select, mount, calibrate, and dress appropriate abrasive grinding wheels or attachments according to project needs.
Surface Finishing: Operate angle grinders, pedestal grinders, bench grinders, and pneumatic hand tools to grind down welds, rust, and scale.
Precision Grinding: Rough and finish flat, cylindrical, or tapered surfaces to exact customer dimensions. [1]
Quality Control: Inspect workpieces visually and use precision measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify structural integrity.
Ability to work up to 12-hours. Ability to operate equipment
