Location: Durham, NC
Shifts Available:
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Pay Rate: Starting at $18.50/hour+, based on experience
Job Summary
We are seeking skilled and dependable Assembly Technicians to join our manufacturing team in Durham, NC. In this role, you will build and integrate the mechanical and electrical components that make up power-generation equipment, including generators and related assemblies. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to follow technical drawings and assembly instructions while maintaining high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and install generator components according to technical specifications, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Construct, rebuild, and integrate mechanical and electrical subassemblies used in generators and related machinery.
- Conduct inspections during and after assembly to verify alignment, fit, wiring accuracy, and overall build quality.
- Utilize hand and power tools to perform mechanical assembly tasks requiring precision and manual dexterity.
- Troubleshoot assembly issues, identify defects, and collaborate with engineers and supervisors to resolve problems.
- Maintain communication with operators, team members, and other departments to ensure efficient workflow and production schedules.
- Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies.

Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and technical instructions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
- Basic electrical knowledge, including wiring, routing, and component integration.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to follow established assembly procedures and manufacturing standards.
