Job Opening: Customer Service/Logistics Technician

Company in Kentwood, MI hiring for a Customer Service/Logistic Technician.
Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm
Pay: $20.65/hr. – $26.00/hr. based on experience.
Main Tasks and responsibilities:
- Maintain fluid, professional, and positive relationships with customer procurement and logistics representatives.
- Manage customer communications across all channels, including phone inquiries, emails, customer portals, and EDI systems.
- Receive, review, validate, and enter customer purchase orders into the ERP system for accuracy. Inform customers promptly of order reception and delivery confirmations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer complaints, log issues in the Quality System, and coordinate with internal teams to resolve disputes, returns, or order changes.
- Launch production orders based on customer forecasts, warehouse inventory levels, and factory capacity, respecting production lead times.
- Monitor and manage low-consumption parts and notify Sales representatives of sudden demand fluctuations to mitigate excess or obsolete inventory.
- Manage intercompany purchase orders and coordinate delivery schedules with customer service and logistics peers at other group companies.
