Job Opening: Maintenance Helper

Large Manufacturing Company in Chatsworth is looking for Maintenance Helpers.

2nd Shift Hours: 2:30pm – 11:00pm

1st Shift Hours: 6:00am – 2:30pm

Temp to Hire

Full Time hours.

·        Responsible for the efficient and safe setup and changeover of production lines for cosmetic manufacturing. This included connecting and disconnecting equipment, ensuring proper alignment and functionality, and troubleshooting any mechanical issues that arise during the setup process.

·        Set up production lines according to work orders and specifications, including connecting machinery, plumbing, and other necessary components.

·        Performed equipment changeovers, ensuring timely and accurate transitions between product runs.

·        Inspected equipment for damage or wear and perform basic maintenance as needed.

·        Troubleshooted mechanical issues during setup and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper operation.

·        Collaborated with production and maintenance teams to optimize line efficiency.

·        Adhered to all safety protocols and quality standards.

• Responded to production calls for pump issues and leaks, troubleshooting problems.
• Worked with diaphragm, Waukesha, and drum pumps.
• Maintained a clean production floor to ensure safety and prevent accidents.
• Operated various forklifts and pallet jacks.
