Description
Receiving and Processing: Unload incoming delivery trucks, verify shipment accuracy, and inspect products for damage.
Inventory Management: Organize goods in designated locations, update inventory logs in software systems, and conduct routine stock counts.
Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick products based on orders, securely pack them, and attach shipping labels.
Loading: Efficiently stack boxes and load outbound freight into trucks and containers.
Facility Maintenance: Keep the warehouse clean and clear of hazards; perform routine safety checks on equipment
Vehicle operation: Drive large commercial vehicles safely across varying terrains, weather conditions, and high-traffic environments.
Safety inspections: Perform comprehensive pre-trip, during-trip, and post-trip vehicle maintenance inspections to guarantee mechanical safety.
Cargo management: Oversee the safe loading, proper weight distribution, and secure strapping or chaining of freight.
Regulatory compliance: Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records tracking hours of service (HOS) and required rest periods.
Route navigation: Plan optimal transport paths using GPS and routing software to ensure punctual drop-offs.
Administrative tracking: Collect and verify delivery documentation, manifests, fuel receipts, and bills of lading.
Basic maintenance: Complete routine vehicle servicing, including fueling, cleaning, checking tire pressure, and topping off fluids
