Wood Shop Helper

Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Job Summary

We are looking for a dependable and motivated Wood Shop Helper to join our team. This position supports daily shop operations by assisting with woodworking projects, material handling, assembly, sanding, packaging, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and wants to learn woodworking skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with woodworking and production projects
• Sand, assemble, and prepare products for finishing
• Move and organize lumber, materials, and finished products
• Operate basic hand and power tools safely
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Assist with packaging and shipping finished products
• Follow safety procedures and shop guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, bend, and work in a shop environment throughout the shift
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous woodworking experience is a plus, but not required
