Job Title: Wiring Technician

Schedule: 2nd Shift

Overtime: Required (3–12 hours based on production needs)
Job Description
The Wiring Technician is responsible for the efficient use of materials, tools, and equipment to assemble electrical wiring systems. This role includes performing electrical wiring on medium to large-sized units and completing final assembly of wiring and panels to switchboards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical wiring assembly on moderately complex to complex products
- Read and follow blueprints, wiring diagrams, and bills of materials
- Assemble parts and components using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices
- Complete full wiring assembly from start to finish
- Perform quality checks on completed work and ensure products meet standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderately complex issues
- Use computer systems to track job progress
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment following OSHA standards
- Collaborate with supervisors, engineering, and quality teams as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned

? Job Requirements
Experience & Skills:
- 3–5 years of previous assembly or wiring experience preferred
- Ability to pass the Work Keys assessment
- Strong understanding of electrical principles and UL requirements (preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and schematics
- Experience using hand tools, air tools, torque wrenches, and gauges
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 26 pounds
- Continuous repetitive hand and arm motions
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Good vision (natural or corrected)
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing/assembly line environment
- Required to wear safety shoes and safety glasses
- Exposure to normal industrial noise levels
- Must be able to reach, pull, push, and climb ladders as needed
