Busbar Assembler

We are seeking an experienced Busbar Assembler to join a manufacturing operation in Durham. This role focuses on assembling copper or aluminum busbars that distribute electrical power inside switchgear and electrical panels. This is a hands-on position suited for candidates with a construction or large-assembly background who are comfortable using tools, following diagrams, and performing physically demanding work.

Shift Information

• Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (ability to train on 1st shift 6am – 4:30pm for 3-4 weeks)
• Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Job Requirements

• Assemble and install copper or aluminum busbars inside electrical panels and switchgear
• Read and follow diagrams, layouts, and measurements accurately
• Use hand and power tools such as drills, torque wrenches, and measuring tools
• Perform precision work requiring strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Lift and move materials weighing up to 75 pounds or more on a continuous basis
• Work safely in a physically demanding manufacturing environment
• Prior experience using power tools and hand tools is required
• Construction, industrial assembly, or large-equipment assembly background preferred
