Job Opening: Forklift Operator (Sit down)

ProLogistix is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator (Sit-Down) for a well-established seafood processing and cold storage company in Burlington, WA.

Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

Pay: $19.50

Type: Temp-to-Hire 

This is a cold storage facility. Associates must be comfortable working in refrigerated, sometimes wet conditions.

 Primary Duties

• Product movement — transporting and weighing product between production lines, freezers, and coolers
• Truck loading and unloading using a sit-down forklift
• Shipping and receiving — completing paperwork accurately and neatly
• General warehouse support as needed
• Working safely in a cold, wet environment

?? Job Requirements

• Excellent attendance and reliability
• At least 18 years of age
• 1+ year sit-down forklift experience preferred
• Experience in food processing or food manufacturing is a plus
• Ability to speak, read, and write English
• Strong communication skills and clear handwriting
• High attention to detail and ability to perform basic math
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Able to lift up to 65 lbs
• Able to stand for long periods and work in cold, wet environments
• Must pass a background check and drug test
