We are seeking an Assembly Technician to support the build and integration of power-generation equipment in a manufacturing environment in Durham. This role focuses on precision mechanical and electrical assembly of generators and related systems, with an emphasis on blueprint interpretation, quality control, and collaboration. Shift Information
- Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- Ability to train on Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Pay Rate: $20.50 per hour

Job Requirements
- Assemble and install generator components according to technical specifications, blueprints, and work instructions
- Build, rebuild, and integrate mechanical and electrical subassemblies used in generators and related equipment
- Perform in-process and final inspections to verify alignment, fit, wiring accuracy, and overall build quality
- Use hand and power tools to complete mechanical assembly tasks requiring strong manual dexterity
- Troubleshoot assembly issues, identify defects, and work with engineers or supervisors to resolve problems
- Communicate with other operators and departments to support efficient workflow and production goals
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using hand and power tools
- Basic electrical knowledge for wiring, routing, and component integration
- High attention to detail and ability to follow precise assembly standards
- Physical ability to lift components and work in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16″
