Job Responsibilities
- • Performs repairs in accordance with safety rules and OSHA requirements.
• Performs all plant Fabrication needs including Injection Molding Tools.
• Performs preventative maintenance inspection (PM); diagnose, repair, and rebuild major equipment/components including injection machinery, hydraulic power packs, diverters, compressors, trash compactors, motors, fans, pumps, forklifts, material loaders, and building equipment.
• Maintains DEI (Daily Equipment Inspections) backlog.
• Establishes and adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules and advises plan maintenance manager if additional work is needed or cannot be completed with the Standard Repair Times (SRTs)
• Recommends measures to improve production, equipment performance, and product quality.
• Performs service calls for emergency breakdowns.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with corporate/OSHA Standards and perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

Speak, read, and understand English.
• Must have fabrication experience or knowledge of Mig/Tig/Arc/Oxy Acetylene/Brazing etc. and Oxygen/Acetylene torch cut and heat.
• Must have reliable transportation to get to work daily. Any attendance issues in the first 90 days of employment may result in the automatic end of the assignment.
• Experience in a fast-paced, production-based warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of safety rules in typical warehouse/manufacturing/production areas.
• Must be able to stand most of the 8-hour workday.
• Must be able to drive a forklift (standing & sit down).
• Lifting maximum of 65 lbs.
• Actively engages in a team-based environment.
• Ability to effectively troubleshoot and identify mechanical issues.
• Ability to perform under limited supervision.
