Job Opening: CNC Programmer

CNC Programmer – Jackson, MI

1st Shift | $30–$35/hour (DOE)

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to develop, maintain, and optimize CNC programs while supporting production, quality, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain CNC programs using Mastercam or manual methods
• Perform machine setups and first article inspections
• Operate CNC milling and/or turning centers
• Follow process control plans to ensure quality and consistency
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using precision tools
• Support tooling, fixture, and process development
• Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Assist with inspection of other machinists’ setups as needed

Qualifications:

• Strong CNC machining and programming experience
• Proficiency with Mastercam (or similar CAM software)
• Ability to execute complex setups and understand tooling fundamentals
• Blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent required
