Job Opening: Receiving Clerk
Description
Position Summary:
The Receiving Clerk is responsible for documenting each shipment when it arrives at our location, verifying all material orders that are received through the facility to ensure proper counts, paperwork, and description.
Primary Competencies:
- Verify invoice to packing slip and keep paperwork organized
- Ability to ensure descriptions and quantities reflect purchase orders and invoices
- Sign, date and scan finished purchasing lists
- Verify where received inventory needs to be moved to amongst facility
- Cross communication with other departments on purchase orders, errors, certificates received
- Filing and organizing
- Printing of labels, inspections sheets, and geometric reports
Qualifications:
- Data entry/computer skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Physical demands of the role include:
- Extended periods of sitting and working with computer equipment.
- Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
