Job Title: Utilities Operator 

Location: Lafayette, IN 

Shift and Pay:  

5:30AM – 5:45PM (3 days on 3 days off schedule) 
5:30PM – 5:45AM (3 days on 3 days off schedule)  
 

Job Responsibilities:  

Support Utilities Services at Evonik 
Services equipment through the Evonik site 
Boilers 
Water Systems 
Compressors 
Chillers and Coolers 
 

Job Requirements:  

Safety Focused and Attention to Detail  
Motivated and Works Efficiently ? 
Mechanical Aptitude with Strong Troubleshooting Skills 
Willingness to learn and expand knowledge to become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) 
For Utilities Dept. – Preferred previous experience working with Steam, Air, and Water Condensate   
For EO Dept. – Support Environmental Operations, including warehousing, incineration, wastewater treatment, bulk solvents and hazardous waste handling, and solvent recovery.
