Job Opening: Quality Assurance Inspector
Description
Primary Responsibilities:
The Quality Assurance Inspector inspects, and tests purchased, machined, fabricated, or assembled electronics and mechanical products for compliance throughout all phases of receiving, in-process and/or final inspection, using precision measuring instruments and test equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing.
• Inspect parts and assemblies to verify compliance to electromechanical requirements/specifications in accordance with work instructions, engineering drawings, and test procedures.
IPC-610 and/or J-STD requirements.
• Inspect and test complex cable assembly systems to verify compliance to engineering and manufacturing drawings and work instructions.
• Complete paperwork/records and computer entries for inspection and receiving records.
• Verify compliance for all completed manufacturing documents in accordance with AS9100/ISO-9001 standard.
Professional Qualifications
• AA or technical certificate, is preferred.
• 3-5 years’ experience as a QA Inspector in electronics manufacturing environment.
• Certification for J-STD C or IPC-610/620, is preferred.
• Should have knowledge of GD&T and a strong ability to read and understand product drawings, blueprints, and applicable specifications.
• Experience with standard inspection tools such as micro meter, calipers, gauge indicators, microscopes, etc.
• Must be able to read and understand engineering assembly drawings.
