Job Opening: Celo/Trident Fastners-Cold Header Machine Operator
Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cold Heading Operator to set up, operate, and maintain cold heading machines used in the production of fasteners and precision metal components. This role is critical to ensuring on-time production, consistent quality, and safe operation of equipment.
1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Load wire or metal stock into cold heading machines
- Operate and monitor machines to ensure efficient production
- Change tooling when worn, damaged, or broken
- Complete cold heading production orders on time
- Inspect finished parts to meet quality standards and production specifications
- Perform in-process quality checks and report any product deviations to the Quality Department
- Label headed semi-finished products and move them to designated areas
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor
