Maintenance Technician – Part-Time

Overview
We are seeking a Part-Time Maintenance Technician to support safe and efficient plant operations located at a pool chemical manufacturing company. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mixers, pumps, conveyors, motors, and packaging equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
• Maintain facility systems including HVAC, air compressors, water systems, and basic plumbing
• Safely work around industrial chemicals while following all PPE and safety procedures
• Complete work orders and document maintenance activities accurately
• Coordinate with production teams to reduce equipment downtime
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement efforts
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical or trade training preferred
• 2+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred
• Working knowledge of mechanical and basic electrical systems
• Ability to read manuals, schematics, and maintenance instructions
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an industrial environment
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or on-call as needed
