We’re looking for a Safety Coordinator to champion workplace safety, ensure compliance, and lead training efforts. You’ll identify risks, enforce policies, and help build a culture of safety.
Safety Coordinator Job Responsibilities:
– Enforce safety rules and OSHA compliance
– Lead inspections, investigations, and training
– Maintain safety documentation and supplies
– Conduct daily hazard assessments
– Manage PPE programs and Safety Committee meetings
Safety Coordinator Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years in a safety role
- OSHA 10-hour (30-hour preferred)
- Strong communication, organization, and tech skills
- Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks
Safety Coordinator Work Environment:
- Active plant setting with noise, machinery, and PPE requirements
- Must pass drug/alcohol testing
- Physical mobility and visual acuity required
