Warehouse Associate I 

Performs general warehouse duties from, packaging ice, pulling orders and helping support shipping/receiving and must work with a Performs general warehouse duties from, packaging ice, pulling orders and helping support shipping/receiving and must work with a sense of urgency. Ensures all information pertaining to products received and products shipped are updated accurately in Microsoft Navision software/BC mobile app for accurate inventory control. Ensures that all orders are shipped using the FIFO (First in First out) method and processed according to International, FedEx and UPS deadlines as needed with supervision Uses a handheld device or handheld tablet to accurately scan picked items and cycle count product. 

Performs cleaning tasks, including but not limited to, sweeping, taking out trash, removing cardboard boxes, and clearing the parking lot at the end of each day to ensure the Warehouse is a clean and safe work environment. Keeps management informed of any situations that could impact the delivery of on time and/or in full shipments of product.Ensures compliance with and/or follows all organizational systems, programs, training, policies, and procedures as required and complies with relevant legal mandates. Seeks guidance as necessary. Actively supports and participates in the safety program, both for self-protection and the protection of other employees, by reading and abiding by all requirements in the Safety Manual and Injury Illness Prevention Program (IIPP). Carries out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical and professional manner. applicable Must be able to fulfill essential job function in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner. applicable Handles various other duties as delegated by Manager or Supervisor. 

Knowledge

• High School Diploma or equivalent GED required.

• Knowledge of lot numbers and serial numbers for shipping.

• Level I – Minimum of 1 years of experience of shipping and receiving experience. o Knowledge of item verification and cycle count.

Proficient knowledge in item verification and cycle count.

• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel

Skills/Abilities

• Excellent verbal and written communication.

• Must be able to work in cold temperature setting

• Must be able to handle frozen gel Ice packs

• Must be able to use discretion and independent judgement.

• Must be able to work in a team environment.

• Must be able to pay close attention to details.

• Must be able to adapt and flex to a changing environment.

• Must be able to lift /or move objects 10-50lbs

• Experience using various computer systems to generate appropriate shipping and receiving documentation
