Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 months relevant Machine Operator experience
- Attention to detail
- Able to use basic hand and power tools
- Basic math
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to identify problems
- Able to multi-task
- Ability to read ruler/tape measure
Job Responsibilities

Job Description:
- Understand and follow verbal instructions to completion of assigned tasks.
- Maintain the palletizer operation of the can package process with a focus on optimizing Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Spoilage.
- Operate one or more machines or equipment for the production of 2-piece or 3-piece steel cans.
- Safely operate, identify basic mechanical problems, and maintain process equipment.
- Communicate all pertinent information between management, co-workers, and between shifts on changes to equipment, production problems, or any other related information.
- Assist and train new palletizer operators as needed or required.
- Follow SOPs, Plant Rules, 6S Housekeeping, and maintain equipment to achieve optimal efficiencies.
- Perform visual quality checks and record accurate quality records and other documentation as required.
- Complete necessary documentation such as monthly SAFE cards, accident/near miss/hazard reporting, and data process control input.
- Attend shift meetings and participate as needed.
- Must have the ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds on occasion and regularly stand, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Perform other job-related duties as required or assigned.
