Maintenance Technician needed in Fabens TX
Pay $18-$23 or Depending on Experience

2nd shift 6pm-4:30am
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of processing equipment in our Fabens, TX plant. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems and will play a critical role in ensuring equipment uptime and production continuity.

Perform mechanical installations, equipment optimizations, and preventive maintenance on processing and production equipment.

Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical/control systems in production areas.

Complete emergency repairs to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.

Conduct equipment changeovers as required by production schedules.

Use CMMS (MP2) system to complete and document all work orders and preventive maintenance tasks.

Read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for troubleshooting and repair.

Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Diagnose mechanical issues, dismantle machines, replace defective parts, and reassemble to proper specifications.

Repair and troubleshoot HVAC systems, including components and system operation.

Perform root cause analysis and breakdown elimination on mechanical systems.

Generate detailed parts lists for both preventive and emergency maintenance needs.

Maintain environmental compliance with policies related to wastewater, stormwater, HVAC, and hazardous waste.

Safely perform all duties using the required PPE and in compliance with GMPs, SOPs, safety regulations, and company policies.

Troubleshoot and perform diagnostics on PLC programming, VFD drives, 3-phase systems, motor controls, and DC electronic systems.

3+ years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance preferred

Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

Experience using CMMS systems (MP2 preferred)

Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and manuals

Skilled in diagnosing and repairing PLC and VFD systems

Knowledge of HVAC systems and basic environmental compliance requirements

Must be able to lift, carry, and handle materials and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Must be available to work flexible hours or respond to emergencies as needed
