Job Opening: Mechanical/Electrical Assemblers
Description
Immediate Openings for Mechanical/Electrical Assembler for 11-month contract with potential to be considered for permanent placement in SE Tucson, AZ!
Hours:
Mon-Fri 6:30am-3:00pm ($18.00/hour) & 2:30pm-10:00pm ($18.75/hour)
Responsibilities:
Working with torque wrenches, hand drills, die grinders and other hand tools.
Working with plumbing and valves, piping and other components.
Read blueprints, schematics, BOM’s, component specification documents, and other technical documentation to assemble, and test electrical panel sub-assemblies.
Basic knowledge and functional understanding of basic electronics principles.
Loading PLC and touch screen control software.
System testing to include ring out and I/O control logic, and function tests.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical panel malfunctions as needed.
Proficient in the use of measurement equipment (calipers, tape measures, and compound squares), hand tools, and power tools (jig saw, horizontal band saw, belt sander, drill, chop saw, grinder).
Must have good manual dexterity, sheet metal working skills are a bonus.
Requirements:
At least one (1) year previous mechanical and/or electrical assembly experience required; 2 years preferred.
