Machine Set-Up Technician

Monday through Friday, some Saturday OT

2nd Shift 2:30pm-1:00am, $21.63/HR

Under general supervision with minimal to no assistance, set-up machines, maintain, troubleshoot, train and assist in the production of bellows to meet production and quality requirements in a safe manner. Experience with machine set-ups using different dies and tooling will be required.

Essential Duties:

• Interpret verbal and written instructions on drawings and or procedures and apply as they relate to manufacturing a bellow.
• Responsible for set up and production and the quality of the parts being produced  from that set up
• Must be able to proficiently disassemble, set up, adjust and changeover equipment for production necessary to insure safety, quality and on time delivery
• assist and or perform minor tool maintenance and repair to include proper storage and handling
• assist and or perform minor machine maintenance and  repairs as needed

 Working Knowledge of the Following Required:

1. Wrenches and other hand tools
2. Precision measuring instruments
3. Lathes and other basic machine shop equipment

Requirements:

- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

- Lifting up to 50 lbs continuously

- 3 years experience in manufacturing environment preferred

- Strong mechanical aptitude 

- Experience with machine set-ups using different dies and tooling will be required.
