2nd Shift Quality Offer Needed in Little Canada, MN!!
Monday – Friday 3pm – 11pm
$ 19.75 – $ 23.00 depending on Experience
Purpose/Summary:
The Quality Officer is a significant part of the support team of the plant. They will be directly reporting to the Quality/Training Supervisor and will be providing frontline support to his team and stakeholders from a quality standpoint. The Quality Officer is the source of data collected to understand the opportunities of production non-conformances and the first line of information for inspection procedures and tools to provide a complete and successful inspection of a part or material.
Duties Include:
Perform RECEIVING, IN-PROCESS AND FINAL inspection activities as per requirement from the customer
order(s).
Perform and complete PPAP, FAIR and CMM inspection requirements when necessary.
Maintain all calibration records and tests per required schedule.
Perform a monthly process compliance audits.
Record and manage the reports for production rejects and material non-conformances.
Assist on duties related to QMS maintenance and ISO Certification requirements as directed.
Supports production with urgent manpower demands when necessary and should be time-flexible when the
need arises.
Receive and document all returns and credits.
Maintain a zero backlog process for orders queued under QC inspection, regardless of the level of inspection
required.
Provide support to production in line with quality awareness, quality trainings and quality on-boarding.
Provide an 8D report for rejects that will require one.
Provide continuous improvement ideas to support quick wins and lean methodologies in the plant.
Perform other duties as assigned by direct superior or management.
Requirements:
Aptitude for leadership
Good verbal and written communication skills
Blueprint reading experience
Warehouse experience
Ability to listen and organize daily, weekly, monthly tasks
Ability to lift 50lbs
Can work under pressure and be flexible
Completion of Drug Screen
GED or High School Diploma
Steel toed shoes
Working Conditions:
Working conditions may consist of loud noise, vibratory tools, repetitive motions, airborne particles such as metal dust
and chips and exposure to chemicals, fumes and bright light. Physical requirements include continual standing, walking,
lifting, twisting with periodic bending, climbing, stooping, crawling and crouching.
