Job Opening: Production Control Scheduler

Now Hiring Production Control Scheduler!

Shift: 7:30Am – 4:15PM Monday- Friday

Pay: $18/hr.

Responsibilities:

• Monitors and controls inventory levels
• Prepares and distributes daily processing schedules
• Coordinates and analyzes sales order schedule, customer orders and special process requests
• Creates work orders and attaches documentation to communicate customer requirements and processing instructions to steel processing members.
• Changed or priority documents are communicated and distributed to the slitter lines as needed.
• Develops schedule for and coordinates movement of processing product between warehouses
• Sends updates and communicates with pertinent sections for system accuracy.
• Performs critical quality assurance checks on vital processing documents
• On call in case emergency processing requirements arise

Requirements:

• 2 year degree from college/technical school or 3 year in related field
• Ability to read and interpret documents 
• Ability to write process procedures, standards, work instructions etc. 
• Basic math skills including fractions, percentages, ratios
• Microsoft Office
• Ability to work on site in a clerical/manufacturing environment
