We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join our 2nd shift team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of quality inspection experience and a strong background in ensuring products meet company and customer standards. This role involves performing in-process and first article inspections, conducting process audits, and maintaining accurate inspection records.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform in-process inspections and first article inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.
Conduct process audits to verify production and quality standards are being met.
Collect, record, and maintain accurate process data.
Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and control panels.
Utilize various measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify part dimensions.
Work closely with production teams to address and resolve quality concerns.
Maintain detailed inspection documentation in accordance with company procedures.
Adhere to all safety and quality standards.
Job Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of in-process and first article inspections.
Experience reading engineering drawings and using control panels.
Proficient with various measuring instruments and inspection tools.
Strong computer skills for data entry and report generation.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
