Resource MFG is looking for Plastic Extrusion Operators around Middlefield, OH

Pay: $18-24/hr based on Experience 

2^nd Shift  4pm to 12 am – Monday thru Friday

3^rd Shift   12am (Midnight) to 8 am  Sunday thru Thursday 

We are seeking skilled and reliable Plastic Extrusion Operators This role is responsible for setting up, operating, monitoring, and maintaining extrusion machinery used to produce high-quality plastic products such as pipes, tubing, films, sheets, and profiles. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-focused, and committed to maintaining production efficiency and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate plastic extrusion machines and related equipment
• Adjust machine settings (temperature, pressure, speed) to meet product specifications
• Load raw plastic materials (pellets, powders, resins) into the extrusion system
• Monitor production processes to ensure consistent output and quality
• Inspect finished products for defects, accuracy, and compliance with specifications
• Measure and record product dimensions and production data
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of machinery
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment
• Collaborate with supervisors and maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues
• Package finished materials and prepare them for shipment or further processing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in plastic extrusion or manufacturing environment strongly preferred
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read measurements and follow production specifications
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, or weekends as needed
