The Accounts Receivable Accounting Clerk will support the financial operations of the company by performing various administrative and clerical tasks related to accounting procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a basic understanding of accounting principles. The Accounting Assistant will work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Assist with accounts receivable functions like these:
- Invoice processing
- AR collections, payment processing and reconciliations
- Monitor accounts, receivable aging, prepare and send statements customers
- Follow up on overdue accounts
- Respond to inquiries from vendors and customers regarding billing and payment issues
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Prepare and process expense reports, reimbursements and commission reports
- Assist with physical inventory count
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Support the accounting team with ad hoc projects and tasks as needed
- Maintain and organize financial records and documentation in an accurate and efficient manner
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and comply with company policies and procedures

Job Requirements
- Entry level to 1 or more years of experience in accounts receivables or similar
- Ability to use Microsoft software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Quick Books or smiliar
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organizational ability
- Effective corporate communications skills
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline, a plus but not required
