Position: Production Technician

Job Summary

The Production Technician supports the manufacturing of composite materials by performing a variety of production and material-handling tasks under supervision. This role involves assisting with composite processes such as resin mixing, prepregging, lamination, CNC cutting, and kitting, while ensuring all work meets safety, quality, and production standards. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop hands-on experience in a manufacturing or composites environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the manufacturing of composite materials using various processes, including resin mixing, prepregging, lamination, CNC cutting, and kitting
• Support the setup and operation of production lines such as fiber processing, resin mixing, or prepreg lines under supervision
• Operate basic production equipment and tools in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Safely handle chemicals, resins, and composite materials in compliance with Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
• Use required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety policies and procedures
• Monitor material flow and report any production or quality issues to supervisors
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with general production tasks as assigned to support workflow and delivery schedules

Qualifications & Skills

• Manufacturing or production experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn production processes
• Ability to safely operate basic production tools and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills
• Ability to adhere to safety protocols and chemical handling requirements

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift materials as required by the position
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with chemicals and machinery
• Ability to wear required PPE for extended periods
