Job Title: CNC Lathe and Mill Operator

Location: Fraser, MI

Shift: 2^nd 3PM – 11PM

Job Type: Full Time Direct Hire

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour depending on experience

Job Description: We are seeking experienced CNC Lathe and Mill operators to join our team in Fraser, employer has been in business for 40 years with low turnover, providing a stable and supportive work environment.. The ideal candidates must have years of experience, job longevity and will be responsible for setting up, editing, running, offsetting, and inspecting close tolerance small parts.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with CNC Lathes (Mazak with live tooling is a plus) and CNC Mill Fadal.
• Set up
• Experience in close tolerance automotive and aerospace work.
• Reliable and conscientious.
• Willingness to work overtime.

JOB DUTIES:

Loading bread baskets on racks

Job Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or equivalent

Must be able to communicate and work effectively in a team environment

Must be able to frequently lift, carry and stack 25+ lb pans, pallets, and ingredient containers

Must be able to work around and with various bakery machinery equipment

Must be able to follow written instructions and listen to a supervisor

Must be detail oriented

Ability to work in a noisy, hot work environment

Ability to stand for an extended period of time

Previous manufacturing/baking/sanitation experience is preferred but not required

Available Shifts:

• 2p-10p (must be available to train on 1st shift for 3-6 weeks)
• 10p-6a (must be available to train on 1st shift for 3-6 weeks)

Pay Rate: $17.75/hr

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operating remote controlled overhead cranes
• Operating powered industrial trucks
• Set-up tube and bar cutting cells
• Create shipping documents
• Locating materials for saws and shipping
• Splitting bundles
• Tagging and banding all material, accordingly
• Pick and stage material shipping, unloading trucks for receiving materials
• Bundle and remove bars from saw table
• Keeps staging area filled
• Follow all written procedures
• Assists furnace operator with process relevant tasks as assigned
• Operate and maintain band saws
• Responsible for tidiness and maintaining a safe work area

Job Requirements:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to sit, stand, push, pull, climb or stoop
• Ability to keep up with production pace for entire 8 hours shift
• Experience in a high volume work environment- preferred

Available Shifts:

• 2p-10p (must be available to train on 1st shift for 3-6 weeks)
• 10p-6a (must be available to train on 1st shift for 3-6 weeks)

Pay Rate: $18.50/hr

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up and operate the bar marking, bar cleaning and bar chamfering machines
• Keeps staging area filled
• Follows all written procedures

Job Requirements:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Current ability to set up or operate BLM tubing cutting with Siemens CNC 8400D Controller or similar cutting Cell (Hautau Tube Cutting Machine)- preferred
• Minimum of three (3) years warehouse or manufacturing experience- preferred
• Certifications for hi-lo or overhead cranes- preferred
• Ability to use micrometers, calipers and other related measurement equipment
• Computer literacy necessary
• Previous machine operator experience running shears, band saw, cold saw operation or tube cutting machines a plus
