Job Summary
An aerospace company located in Valencia, CA is an FAA 145 Repair Station specializing in landing gear and hydraulic component overhaul. We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Operator to perform precision machining operations for landing gear components. This role focuses on programming and machining bushings and rod ends used in aerospace applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and perform CNC lathe machining operations on raw materials
- Program and machine aerospace bushings and rod ends
- Operate one or more CNC machines on a regular basis
- Ensure machined parts meet dimensional tolerances per shop planning and specifications
- Inspect parts visually and dimensionally using appropriate measuring tools
- Identify and correct defects within specified limits
- Perform part finishing operations including deburring and edge breaking
- Maintain quality and consistency in compliance with aerospace standards
- Follow all safety, quality, and FAA repair station procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience operating CNC lathes
- Aerospace machining experience strongly preferred
- Ability to read and interpret shop planning documents and technical drawings
- Strong understanding of dimensional tolerances and inspection methods
- Experience machining bushings, rod ends, or similar components preferred
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple machine tasks
- Commitment to safety and compliance in an aerospace manufacturing environment

Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- The ability to read, write and understand English
- Detail oriented
- Ability to read and understand OHM/ CMM's, blueprints, shop travelers and sketches
- Ability to identify different plated surfaces such as chrome plate, nickel plate, and various thermal sprayed surfaces
- Must be able to perform measurements using inspection tools such as, but not limited too; micrometers, dial bore gages, telescope gages, height gages, and indicators
- General knowledge of set-up, loading and adjusting machines and equipment
- Practical experience with the procedures, practices, inspection methods, materials, tools and equipment generally used in the work for which the repair station is rated.

We're Hiring Machine Operator: Conventional Grinder
1st and 2nd shift available
Pay rate: DOE
This company is an FAA 145 Repair Station specializing in landing gear and hydraulic component overhaul. Currently we are seeking talented individuals to perform conventional grinding of landing gear components using machinery such as;
- Gap Grinders - 1st. Shift
- O/D Grinders - 2nd. Shift
- I/D Grinders - 2nd. Shift
- Flat/Surface Grinder - 2nd. Shift
Responsibilities include;
- Set up and machine operations on high strength steel and aluminum parts.
- May run one or more machines on a regular basis.
- Each machinist is responsible for ensuring that machine work meets dimensional tolerances as noted on shop planning and that defects are removed within specified limits.
- To inspect parts visually and dimensionally, and perform clean-up operations as required such as deburr and breaking of edges
