The primary purpose of the Process Technician is to work with the Shift Supervisor to operate, troubleshoot, document, and communicate on all equipment that is not performing within specifications. This position may perform supervisory tasks such as: designating Packer / Handlers and other team members to meet production schedules, opening/closing the building as required, and overseeing employees in the absence of management. In performing these responsibilities, associates are to work safely, efficiently, and cooperatively in a manner that demonstrates team member involvement. This role requires leadership skills, good communication skills, the ability to think critically, learn new processes, be self-motivated, adapt to changes, and work in a fast-paced environment with a broad range of people.

 Physical Demands/Work Environment:

  • This position will need to stand, bend, squat, kneel, crawl & reach. This position requires consistent use of arm(s), wrist, elbow with repeated squeezing and grasping. Will be required to lift up to 40 pounds.

General Overview

This position is a direct labor position performing duties of a lead person in the injection mold and blow molding departments. The Fabrication Group Lead will assist in checking to ensure that daily work schedules and quality levels are met. The Group Lead will also perform the duties at other workstations as directed by the supervisor. This position will also help ensure productivity measures are met with top quality while adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining a clean environment that supports Lean concepts.

The Injection Mold Process Engineer is responsible for establishing the Injection Molding process for the Ripley injection molding machines and creating standard production processes with machine and quality controls. He/she will implement automation and suggest process improvements. The Process Engineer will make recommendations on mold, machine and auxiliary equipment along with establishing PM schedules. In addition, this position will be a dotted line supervisor to Process Technicians at Ripley MS plant and be responsible for the training Process Technicians in the plant.
