  ResourceMFG is seeking experienced Injection Mold Operators for a manufacturing factory in Rochester, MI. Injection Mold Operators are responsible for ensuring the presses run smoothly and minimizing down time for process related issues.

  $18.00 per hour

  • 1st Shift 7:00am-3:30pm

  Essential Functions of Injection Mold Operators:

  • Meets and Monitors daily schedules. Provides root cause analysis and corrective actions for any unscheduled downtime, missed production opportunities and/or defect production.
  • Monitors all scrap produced that affect efficiencies, daily outputs, and validates with Line Supervisors prior to daily reporting.
  • Conducts training for new hires to help guide them to the next level.
  • Assists Line Supervisor(s) in providing breaks and filling in for absences on the line.

  Job Responsibilities

  • Answer Phones
  • Manage visitors entering the facility through the front lobby
  • Interact with Sales, exchange customer requirements, manager project pricing, discounts, timing, logistics, account terms, RMA's, Pull Ahead Requests, Order follow ups, Customer feedback complaints etc.
  • Set up new accounts, run credit checks with references, establish customer payment terms, maintain account records, shipment methods, special shipping requirements, special invoicing requirements, terms and conditions, etc.
  • Coordinate with Production Control, managing pricing, lead times, customer special requirements, parts identification, parts revisions, parts location and parts set up.
  • Verify physical inventory of stock parts required for request for quotes and purchase orders.
  • Establish current price and lead times for Customer Quotes and Purchase orders directly through the following methods: Retrieve Quotes from Vendors for pass through products, mark up and enter in MTM database. Direct Quotes through the Estimating Workflow for SO's (special products) Process through Engineering and or estimating set up new parts and maintaining pricing in MTM database.
  • Set up new accounts, run credit checks, establish terms, set up shipment methods and contact, set up accounts payable contacts, review customer portals.
  • Quotes validate part numbers and descriptions, verify stock, pricing and lead times, create part numbers in MTM, validate and enter all pertinent information from the customer RFQ to the Quote.
  •  Process PAR (Pull Ahead Request), Distribute and maintain Urgent communications through Op's, customer, Production Control, Labeling, Machining, Assembly, Inspection and Shipping and Receiving.
  • Create jobs and routers for cut offs, grooving, drilled holes, bored ID, turn down OD of plane bearings
  • Create jobs for Rulon way strips Material
  • Create jobs for rollers and roller components to be reoiled and assembled or pulled for shipping
  • Create Material Certifications
  • Create invoices and USMA certifications including tariff and country of origin validation for both foreign and domestic shipments
  • Establish/Coordinate prepayment requirements with customers, shipping and receiving and accounts receivable 
  • Process Order Follow ups, validate timing on order process
  • RMA's, receive products where necessary, issue quotes, Processes PO's parts and returned and parts scrapped, issue credits if applicable, follow through with customers, close completed and expired RMA's
  • Back up invoicing, process Invoices of shipped goods and services, distribute to customers via email and customer portals, Pricing discrepancies 
  • Track and report Customer on time deliveries
  • Track and report Customer feedback including customer complaints in the Quality Database
  • Track and report New Customers, total sales orders, total sales dollars, order backlog for month end reporting
