Job Details for the maintenance technician in a warehouse:

• Must be trained in Lock Out / Tag Out prior to performing PM tasks
•  Ability to read, understand and follow written instructions and safety guidelines 
• Ability to follow and give directions
• Ability to operate, diagnose, and repair equipment/machinery in a safe manner 
• Provide backup for moving materials by using a forklift and other equipment
• Ability to maintain and repair packaging or wood shop equipment. (Example: Tape Guns, Tape Machines, Sheeters, Minor Auto Bagger and Sprint repair, Conveyors, panel saw, etc.
• Ability to perform basic math 

Job Requirements:

• Must have experience as a maintenance technician
• Weekly pay
• Must wear steel toed

Machine Operator Job Duties:

• Loads bins with parts
• Loads parts into robotic weld cells
• If trained, may perform manual spot/repair weld functions
• Inspects parts for quality
• Detects and reports defective materials to supervisor
• Conducts machine operation and safety checks on prescribed intervals
• Performs general clean-up and organization of work area (SCORE- Safety, Cleanliness, Organization, Responsiveness, and Efficiency)
• Other duties as assigned to maintain production.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years manufacturing experience in plastics technology or a similar technical area
• Strong knowledge of PET, SPC, plastics, electrical, electronic hydraulics, mechanical and pneumatic functions
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with downtime analysis and scrap reduction
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring and inspection equipment
• Good working knowledge of computer systems, including MS Office and SAP
• Ability to effectively communicate technical system issues
• Experience with lean manufacturing processes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, lean environment with heat above 90 degrees

Responsibilities
• Sets up and runs production molds

• Makes required mold changes/process adjustments and completes color changes as required

• Assures that the performance of all new and existing molds meet engineering and production standards

• Responsible for processes that produce bottles and/or preforms to the specifications determined by the Quality team

• Ensures all molds and molding machines run

• Troubleshoots molding processes and cycles

• Analyzes problem areas when parts are not meeting Quality specifications

• Troubleshoots equipment, ancillary equipment, and support equipment and partners with maintenance as required

• Maintains and completes all necessary reports and records

• Trains employees to ensure they are able to do their job with success

• Complies with all company safety policies and procedures and maintains good housekeeping and GMP practices/Global Food Safety practices

• Communicates with management on mold and machine problems
