Hiring Dispatcher 1st Shift

Scheduled: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm 

Pay rate : $17 per hour

Job Responsibilities 

• Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for drivers and clients, relaying information and instructions clearly and efficiently.
• Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule deliveries, pickups, and other transportation services, ensuring adherence to timelines and adjusting as necessary.
• Monitoring Operations: Continuously track the status of shipments and vehicles, using tracking systems to provide updates and ensure timely deliveries.
• Problem-Solving: Address and resolve issues that arise during operations, such as delays or customer complaints, by devising quick solutions.
• Data Entry and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including delivery logs and incident reports, ensuring all data is entered into relevant systems.

Ability to fluently communicate and read in English

External Basic Qualifications:

• Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage schedules and prioritize tasks under pressure.
• Multitasking Ability: Capable of handling multiple requests and situations simultaneously while maintaining composure.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with dispatch software and tracking systems is often required.
• Experience: Previous dispatching or logistics experience is preferred but not always necessary.
