WAREHOUSE TECHNICIAN 1st Shift OKC

Shift: 7am to 3:45pm Monday through Friday

Pay: $18 an hour


Safely pull orders according to documented pick list and stage them for the next step in the manufacturing process following approved guidelines while helping to maintain inventory accuracy, production schedules, and work area cleanliness.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Safely pull all necessary parts from the warehouse to assemble the order as documented on the pick list.
•Stage pulled orders with all necessary parts in preparation for the next stage of the assembly process.
•Safely stock parts as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor according to documented part number and bin location.
•Safely and efficiently operate stand-up forklift to perform duties such as stocking, pulling, and moving palletized components within the facility.
•Provide appropriate information for the inventory tracking system as necessary to maintain inventory accuracy.
•Assists with training other warehouse personnel as needed.
•Perform all tasks as required of a Safety Sensitive position.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Support the maintenance of shop equipment.
•Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
•Effectively and efficiently use time to safely perform duties.
•Complete all paperwork in required manner and time.
•Demonstrate a willingness to learn to produce new products, use new procedures, and embrace and support change.
•Follow and support established HSE programs.
•Report any unsafe situations to appropriate Management Team member if necessary.
•All other duties or tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
•Ability to identify part numbers and safely stock shelves.
•Working knowledge of computer software packages such as MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
•Ability to establish and maintain constructive working relationships with people.
•Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects daily in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
•Ability to speak, write and read English.
•Able to work independently or as part of a team on a broad variety of projects.
•Willingness to work additional hours to meet tight deadlines.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
•High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
•Two (2) years warehouse experience, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
•Must obtain and maintain active certification to operate a Class II forklift.

This position is responsible for setting up and operating one or more of the following pieces of equipment: surface grinder, tool and cutter grinder, milling machines, lathes, saws and any other pieces of equipment at are required to perform the daily task. Will work help and support the Master Tool Builders as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Follow directions from the Value Stream Manager of the PBU or their designee.
  • Adhere to all Environmental, Health & Safety rules.
  • Help support and maintain all 6S standards in your immediate work area and others as needed.
  • Follow instructions and guidelines.
  • Work with close tolerances turning and/or milling.
  • Make sure all safety equipment and safety regulations are adhered to when operating machinery.
  • Maintain a 40-hour work week and ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Perform other job-related duties as directed.
  • Adhere to ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environmental, and OSHAS 18801 certification requirements.
  • Responsible for maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Requires regular attendance per the schedule assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements:

Knowledge and Skill Requirement:

This position should possess the following skills/knowledge:

  • High school diploma.
  • 3 years’ experience operating CNC mills and/or CNC lathes.
  • Good working knowledge of calculating angles and Radius’s. (preferred)
  • Ability to proficiently operate over head and jib cranes.
  • Good working knowledge of standard shop mathematics.
  • Ability to fluently read and write G-Code.
  • Ability to effectively use measuring equipment such as calipers (digital, dial and vernier), Micrometers, pie tapes, tape measure etc.
  • Able to work from blueprints, sketches and/or verbal descriptions for planning operational sequences.
