Forklift Operator - Sit-down

Location: Ogden, UT

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, on a 2-2-3 rotation

Role Overview

Responsible for blending and mixing plastic powders according to precise formulas, ensuring accurate measurements and proper material flow to support production.


Key Responsibilities

  • Blend and mix plastic powders accurately to match production specifications
  • Weigh powders and materials using scales—must be able to read and interpret weight measurements correctly
  • Track raw material flow and supply production staff
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
  • Operate mixing/blending equipment following quality standards
  • Operate a sit-down forklift for material handling
  • Keep detailed production logs and reports

 

Job Requirements:

Requirements

  • Prior experience in mixing/blending plastic powders
  • Ability to read and interpret scales for accurate weighing
  • Proficient English communication skills
  • Sit-down forklift experience required
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule
  • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and stand for long periods

Composite Assembler Responsibilities

  • Prepare composite materials by accurately determining angles, laying out, and cutting pre-preg fabric.

  • Operate automated cutting machinery to ensure precision in material length and angles.

  • Ply sheets together, aligning material weave angles and assembling them into plied panels.

  • Monitor product quality throughout the production process, ensuring compliance with specifications.

  • Maintain a safe and organized workspace, adhering to company safety standards.
