• Perform in process and final inspections on electronic components and assemblies
• Conduct visual, mechanical, and electrical testing using standard inspection tools

• Interpret BOMs, drawings, and work instructions

Qualifications
• 1–3 years of QA in a manufacturing setting

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Plating Technician to support plating lab operations by electroplating parts to customer specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, quality inspection skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Description
Key responsibilities include:
- Electroplate parts according to customer specifications using proper plating techniques
- Clean and prepare parts prior to plating to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality
- Inspect plated components for quality, consistency, and compliance with specifications
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the plating lab, equipment, and workstations
- Monitor and maintain plating solutions and equipment, reporting any issues to management
- Accurately document work performed and maintain plating process records
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Assist with additional lab tasks and projects as assigned by the Plating Lab Manager
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of plating experience required
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Safety-focused with the ability to follow procedures consistently
