Shipping and Receiving Clerk needed in Sorrento Valley area. 

• 1st shift 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday
• $22-$23/hr. DOE
• 3 month temporary contract assignment
• Weekly pay 

Duties: 

• Compare identifying information and count, weigh, or measure items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. Identifies discrepancies • Coordinate with Freight Company for shipments too large for parcel pickup• Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons• Assembles and/or selects reassembled containers• Stamps, stencils, or glues identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates or containers• Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, reports damaged items, and records shortages.• Examines outgoing shipments to ensure paperwork and equipment match and meets customer requirements.

Job Requirements:

1+ years shipping and receiving experience.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble of medical devices using a microscope and use production/inspection tools and equipment needed for product builds
• Operate tools & equipment, and complete documentation as required
• Perform equipment set-up, operation, and in-process inspection in order to accomplish assigned task(s).
• Labeling and packaging of medical products. 

Education:

• High school or equivalent with two or more years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in low or high-volume production

Required Experience:

• Prior microscope and medical device assembly experience required
• Understand and perform in-process inspection to assure workmanship and quality of in-process medical devices.
