Are you an experienced Shipping & Receiving Clerk looking for a great opportunity with competitive pay and a steady schedule? We are currently seeking a detail-oriented professional to support warehouse and shipping operations for a respected client in the Sorrento Valley area.

Position Details

  • Position: Shipping & Receiving Clerk
  • Location: Sorrento Valley, CA
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Pay Rate: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour (DOE)
  • Assignment Length: 3-Month Temporary Contract
  • Pay Frequency: Weekly Pay

Responsibilities

  • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments by comparing identifying information against bills of lading, invoices, purchase orders, and other records.
  • Count, weigh, or measure items to confirm shipment accuracy.
  • Identify and report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods.
  • Coordinate shipments with freight carriers for large or specialized deliveries.
  • Prepare packages for shipment by applying shipping labels and required documentation.
  • Assemble or select appropriate containers for shipment.
  • Stamp, stencil, or affix shipping instructions and identifying information to crates and cartons.
  • Unpack and inspect incoming shipments for quality and accuracy.
  • Ensure outgoing shipments meet customer specifications and paperwork requirements.
  • Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.

Qualifications

  • Previous Shipping & Receiving experience required.
  • Experience working with shipping documentation, bills of lading, and inventory records.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle shipping materials safely.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Forklift experience is a plus.

  • 2nd shift 2:30pm-11:00pm
  • $20-$23/hour
  • Temp to Hire opportunities

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble of medical devices using a microscope and use production/inspection tools and equipment needed for product builds
  • Operate tools & equipment, and complete documentation as required
  • Perform equipment set-up, operation, and in-process inspection in order to accomplish assigned task(s).
  • Labeling and packaging of medical products. 

 

Education:

  • High school or equivalent with two or more years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in low or high-volume production

Required Experience:

  • Prior microscope and medical device assembly experience required
  • Understand and perform in-process inspection to assure workmanship and quality of in-process medical devices.
