    Position Description:

    Responsible to cycle count warehouse, prepare batch reports and investigate inventory discrepancies. Responsible to investigate and resolve inventory that is in soft location, negative and loose quantities.

     

    Essential Functions (Key Job Responsibilities for which the position is held accountable):

    • Cycle count warehouses 2 times a year, prepare cycle count batch reports. 
    • This includes using a forklift to move pallets, using a cherry picker for higher locations and lifting chemical drums to count and weigh chemicals.
    • Cycle count at request of Production, Planning or Finance.
    • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
    • Assist with customer physical inventories and with items that need adjustments monthly.

    Position Description

    Install, maintain and troubleshoot various production equipment including but not limited to Un-scrambler, Pacific Rotary Filler, inline Fillers, Norden Tube fillers, Resina-Cappers, Label Machines, inkjet Coders, Conveyors, Pumps with a sound knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, electric and automation systems. Performs the Preventive Maintenance, Scheduled Maintenance, Change overs, equipment rebuilds and support production to ensure quality and efficiency. Also requires the basic Fabrication skills and knowledge of shop equipment .Must have experience using hand tools and power tools. Strong Knowledge of  Lock Out/ Tag Out  and GMP .     • Change over, troubleshoot, repair and maintain complex mechanical equipment, Controls and Piping distribution systems in accordance with GMPs and SOPs. 
    • Understand, follow and perform accurately all calculations and instructions written in changeover and set-up procedures
    • Work in a high stress environment with multiple priorities and with very little supervision. 

    Essential Functions

    • Install, maintain, trouble-shoot, repair and rebuild un-scramblers, Fillers, Cappers, Crimpers, Label M/c, Inkjet Coders, Conveyors and other packaging machines.
    • Perform line change overs and set ups based on production schedule and also updates and validate set up sheets.
    • Build transfer lines, connect pumps and perform washout and sanitization of filling system by following company’s standard operating procedures.
    • Attend trouble calls and support production to ensure standard quality & efficiency and minimize all down time.
    • Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled maintenance as per MP2 work orders. Reads, interprets the equipment manual, P& I diagram for major repairs and trouble shoots and order parts to maintain the inventory of critical spares.
    • Work closely with engineering to assist them in Line trials and continually improve the manufacturing process and production equipment.

    GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

    Perform bulk product handling functions in the Production Department, which includes cleaning and sanitizing for all production equipment accordance to G.M.P’s. Pull bulk products and locate to proper filling line. Hook-up all bulk product to filling line. Prepare bulk product and equipment in support of the Production schedule. Additional duties and responsibilities are frequently assigned by supervision.

    SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Verify bulk as required for assigned filling lines.
    2. Review and maintains continuous production schedule for work assignments, by switching batches, washing and troubleshooting problems. Verify proper paperwork and perform real-time transactions for bulk issuance.
    3. Cooperate with Production and Quality Control to accomplish schedule adherence
    4. Disassemble, clean, sanitize and reassemble pipes, pumps, tanks and filter housings.
    5. Perform manufacturing equipment cleaning, lubrication, housekeeping and sanitizing in assigned area.
    6. Utilize forklift for obtaining bulk and transporting to line.

    Job Description:

    This position is a critical link between the shop floor associates and through the use of proper calibrated tools and equipment to ensure product conforms to the engineering specifications and requirements.  The person in this role will ensure their performance standards are met and take appropriate action where necessary to meet agreed deadlines, quality performance, and assigned targets. The role also includes supporting quality needs and cross training throughout the department. 

     

    Key Accountabilities

    • Set up and adjust gages using required equipment or masters per specification requirements. This includes periodic verifications of gage set-up. Verify accuracy of gaging when required by utilizing calibration history, Gage R & R studies, and applicable Measurement Uncertainty parameters.
    • Develop standard work for the process of gage set-ups, training, minimize gage set-up issues, and reduction of queue time for gages being deployed to the manufacturing area.
    • Conduct training on proper use of gages to ensure accurate and effective results as well as expected longevity of the tools.
    • Work with quality engineering in the design of new or modified gaging when required and support MSA’s/special gage studies.
    • Provide technical support and guidance to certified operators, manufacturing, and other areas in need of assistance on all Inspection gaging related topics.
    • Utilize calibration software system to track and record assignment and calibration history of measurement equipment.
    • Perform inspection operations using a variety of precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, air gages, indicators, and special test equipment.
    • Ensure that all quality requirements are being followed including procedural compliance and communicating all non-compliance issues to the appropriate associates.
    • Communicate and coordinate with other members of the Quality team to ensure that all areas flow efficiently through direct support of gaging activities including service, calibration, repair and replacements.
    • Ability to help the manufacturing area in troubleshooting and resolving gage issues.
    • Ensure adherence to Company Safety and Work rules.
    • Support SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost) metrics in all areas relevant to this position.
