•    Responsible for proper packaging of shipping of goods. 
•    Gather inserts, containers, and other packaging materials for each shipment per work order
•    Gather assemblies, subassemblies and components per work orders and shipping configurations lists.
•    Verify assemblies and subassemblies and components are complete, correct and correctly labeled and correspond to requirements per the work order
•    Carefully package goods in order to precent any shipping damage being sure to include all items
•    Prepare and verify shipping documentation required for specified shipper
•    Maintain cleanliness and neatness of shipping areas.
•    Assist in spaying liquid foam into box containers to make custom foam packaging

POSITION PURPOSE/SUMMARY STATEMENT 
Support the transportation department, export/import and parcel functions in daily reporting, invoicing, scheduling, tracking, and analysis. Maintain delivery, tracking and billing data. Provide consolidated data in the form of reports and metrics to internal and external customers. Monitor and analyze issues to enhance visibility.
Communicate weekly status reports to supervisor/manager. Enhance the distribution center administrative function by providing a strong, well-rounded administrative skill set and work ethic. Occasional overtime may be required. 
Manages a high volume of work in a moderately pressured but friendly environment. 
Attention to detail and sense of urgency is critical. Must manage conflicting priorities of various people you support through excellent time management and communication skills.  Develop and maintain productive, effective, and professional relationships with peers, superiors, auditors, and others.  Represent the company in a positive and supportive manner at all times.


Duties and Responsibilities: 
Import/Export: Work with internal groups and external brokers to deliver critical duty information, track and report status of shipments to and from International locations, review and code export invoices. 
Transportation Administration: Review, code, and verify all transportation invoices.  Create and maintain reports and metrics to track costs and performance.  Communicate internally and externally to schedule, route, and track shipments/containers.
Parcel Administration: Work to optimize company parcel program through recording data, working with 3rd party vendors (parcel shippers and auditors), maintaining reports and metrics to track costs and performance.

JOB SUMMARY:
Under direct supervision can set up and operates gas and electric welding equipment used in the manufacturing of metal cabinets.  Responsible for meeting safety, quality and productivity expectations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1.    Under supervision, sets up and operates different types of equipment used to weld metal cabinets and other related products. 
2.    Plans details of working procedure, tools, and material requirements.
3.    Welds sheet metal using different welding positions (flat, overhead, vertical, etc.).  
4.    Cleans and prepares surfaces (including sanding) to be welded.  
5.    Uses cutting torch equipment to dismantle assemblies and to cut material to size and shape.
6.    Builds up worn or defective surfaces.
7.    Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly.
8.    Works from blueprint, engineering specifications and production schedules. 
9.    Upon completion of welding operations, assists other areas as needed.


Job Requirements:

Technical Competencies:
•    High school or equivalent education preferred.
•    Must have 3 years or more of MIG Welding experience. 
•    Production welding with sheet metal experience preferred.
•    Must demonstrate the capability of welding sheet metal products by passing welding test.
