Responsibilities:

  • Performs stockroom operations including inventory control, materials movement, cycle counting and physical inventories
  • Contribute to Receiving, Material Handling, and Inventory operations as needed
  • Keep informed of production schedules and activities in order to meet deadlines
  • Resolve discrepancies between orders and material received such as delays, condition, weight, quality, etc.
  • Maintain inventory of incoming, stored, and outgoing goods, as well as current space available.
  • Verify all material received for conformity with accompanying paperwork, checking for damage, correct part numbers, quantity and revisions

  9. Reports needs for major repairs to Production Manager.
  10. Responsible for the security of the building under the supervision of the Safety Manager.
  11. Prepares accurate records for preventative maintenance.
  12. Assists with the troubleshooting of equipment at the component level.

Job Description: Production Line Lead

Responsible for running all company products on all production lines. Able to operate and perform
minor adjustments to all packaging equipment. Coordinates activities of all packaging operators assigned to
their production line.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Operates packaging equipment. Performs minor mechanical adjustments to equipment. Assists on major line changeovers and/or maintenance as needed.
2. Accurately records critical production data on the Production Control Form. Responsible for completeness and accuracy of the form.
3. Able to perform all functions related to line set ups and changeovers (i.e. hook ups, setting codes, materials management, line purges, sampling and documentation).
4. Responsible for safety, quality, housekeeping and cGMP’s on their assigned production line. Makes start/stop decisions based on training and experience.
5. Regularly lifts and carries boxes and bundles of packaging up components up to 50 lbs. to set up and purge production lines. Uses pallet jack to move pallets of packaging. Gets help as necessary to perform these functions.
6. Has working knowledge of short-term production schedule. Able to plan ahead for next product on their production line.
7. Works overtime as required. Must be able to adjust work hours and shifts to meet business needs.
8. Able to communicate technical and non-technical issues to supervisor and mechanics.
9. Able to train new line technicians and line operators in line operations.
10. Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
