Packaging Associate Job Duties:

• Quickly and efficiently assemble components, which can include but not limited to capping bottles, repacking bottles and/or building kits of multiple components to ensure production levels are maintained.
• May work individually or as part of an assembly line to complete the process, in which case must communicate with other team members on the production line to ensure speed and accuracy to meet established metrics.
• Accurately record daily production with limited use of company ERP system.
• Inform supervisors of any part or equipment defects to ensure prompt response to the problem.
• Maintain an efficient and orderly production room while following all company and facility safety policies, procedures, and guidelines and immediately reporting potentially hazardous situations.
• Support branch metrics to drive customer satisfaction.

Comfortable, Clean Environment | Multiple shift opportunities

ResourceMFG is looking for motivated Production/Packagers to join our team in Lordstown, OH. This is a great opportunity to work in a clean, climate-controlled facility.

Pay & Position Details:

• Pay Rate: $16.75-17.75 depending on shift

• Schedule: 2-2-3 schedule (OT included)

  7am-7pm or 7pm-7am (1st and 2nd week consist of a M-F 8 hour schedule for training)

What You’ll Do:

Operators are responsible for assembling and packing pails or lids and to correctly install handles or triggers into the product in a timely manner. Detail to quality is important to meet our customer’s standards. Be flexible and able to multitask as needed. Must be able to follow written or verbal instructions.

Essential Functions:

• Follow safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment

• Able to install Triggers. Gaskets, tampers, vent plugs, metal/ plastic spouts, metal/plastic handles manually or using an installer device. • Able to apply silicone to a lid using a brush when required

• To report on and stop product that doesn’t meet our quality standards before packing

• Using a tape gun when needed to make boxes for lids

• Operate Child Warning Stamper applying the label to the pail

• Complete required paperwork of production numbers and rejects for your shift

• Responsible for keeping the work area clean and organized

• Performs other duties assigned
