Position Overview
The Press Operator 2 is responsible for setting up, adjusting, operating, and maintaining flexographic press equipment in a fast-paced production environment. This role supports high-quality print output through precise press operation, equipment care, and adherence to production specifications. Experienced candidates may qualify for higher pay rates.
Shift Structure:

Key Responsibilities
•     Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain various flexographic press equipment.
•     Perform all make-ready tasks, including mounting plates, installing print cylinders, inspecting plates/cylinders for imperfections, and ensuring proper image alignment.
•     Prepare web paths, adjust tension and register, and verify press readiness.
•     Execute color corrections, anilox adjustments, and other press calibrations to meet quality standards.
•     Clean, lubricate, and maintain press equipment; perform minor repairs and replace worn or damaged parts as needed.
•     Conduct periodic maintenance as recommended by equipment manufacturers.


Job Requirements:

Qualifications
•     Thorough knowledge of flexographic printing processes, materials, specifications, equipment, and safety requirements.
•     Ability to read and interpret job specifications and determine appropriate press settings, materials, and configurations.
•     Skilled in creating precise web paths and performing detailed press adjustments.
•     Experience with routine operational maintenance and minor equipment repairs.
•     Basic computer proficiency; familiarity with Excel, Word, and Google tools preferred.

Position Summary
